Ansible can do much of Puppets job in many situations. Its quick learning curve made it very popular with beginners and experienced ops professionals alike.However, Ansibles approach is quite different from that of Puppet. Approaching it with a Puppet mindset is detrimental to the quality of the code that users can write.
