Safely Doing Dangerous Changes with Chef

From firmwares updates to application setup, chef configures everything on 25K Criteo servers. This includes doing service restart, reboots or reinstallation and can put infrastructure at risk. To gain confidence on deployment we have developed a non-instrusive orchestration layer inside chef to provide safety guarantees to all Chef users. This tool is called choregraphie.
